Cross contamination is literally invisible because it is caused by microbes not visible to the human eye. Only professionals can guarantee that it does not happen. We care relentlessly for your safety and the following steps are taken to make sure that we enforce it as a team. We make sure that the gloves are used in the proper manner. Gloves only come out of the glove dispenser, not off an unsterilised countertop. Gloves touch only the sterile instruments or your mouth. We absolutely change gloves in between patients. We have placed ample soap containers that are visible. In addition to using gloves, all of us at deardent make use of the hand washing facility as often as required.

There are special containers for the disposal of needles and sharp items. Devices have to be either sterilised or disposed. Dental chair rooms are cleaned between patients. There is a dedicated room for the disinfection of instruments. All used instruments are sterilised in between each patient, including the dental drill. We go through scheduled autoclave performance validation of all our most advanced autoclave machinery.

You will find that a sealed bag of sterilised instruments is unwrapped in front of you. Once the instruments are out of the sterilised bags, they are kept on a sterile tray; never on an unsterile countertop. Feel free to ask us anything about our sterilisation practices.
